Privacy policy
How BoomyGate collects, uses and protects your information.
This policy describes how BoomyGate ("we", "us", "our") handles personal information when you visit boomygate.com, contact us, subscribe to emails, submit a review or place an order.
We use personal information to operate the store, complete orders, provide support, prevent fraud, understand site performance and measure our advertising. There is currently no customer account system on this site.
Information you provide
- Checkout and order information: your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing details, the items ordered, order value and order status.
- Contact and support information: the details and message you submit through our contact form or send by email.
- Reviews: the display name, email address, rating, review text and any photo or video you choose to submit. Your email address is not displayed with the review.
- Email subscriptions: the email address you submit and the date and source of the subscription. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email.
Information collected automatically
- Device and request information: IP address, browser and device details, user agent, referring page, requested page, timestamps and basic security logs.
- Shopping activity: pages viewed, items added to the cart, checkout activity, purchases, order value and related event identifiers.
- Cookies and identifiers: a cart token, a randomly generated first-party visitor identifier and advertising identifiers such as Meta _fbp and _fbc when those technologies are enabled.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered into Stripe-controlled payment fields and are not stored on our servers. We receive payment status and transaction references needed to complete and support the order.
Cookies and advertising measurement
We use essential technology to keep the cart and checkout working. We may also use Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to measure visits, shopping activity and purchases attributed to our advertising.
Information sent for advertising measurement may include the page URL, event type, event time, value and currency, product or order identifiers, IP address, browser information, Meta cookie identifiers and hashed contact details used for matching. Hashing does not make information anonymous to a platform that can match it to an account.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser and adjust your advertising preferences in your Meta account. Blocking essential cookies may prevent the cart or checkout from working correctly.
How we use information
- To operate the website, remember your cart and process payment.
- To confirm, fulfil, deliver and support orders.
- To respond to messages, moderate reviews and manage email subscriptions.
- To prevent fraud, misuse and security incidents.
- To measure site and advertising performance and understand which campaigns lead to visits or orders.
- To meet accounting, tax, legal and regulatory obligations.
Who receives information
We disclose information only for the purposes described in this policy, including to:
- Stripe and other payment or fraud-prevention providers involved in checkout.
- Fulfilment providers and shipping carriers that pack, dispatch and deliver orders.
- Hosting, database, email, security and customer-support providers that help us run the store.
- Meta when Pixel or Conversions API measurement is enabled. Meta handles the information it receives under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Professional advisers, authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or respond to valid legal requests.
Sale, sharing and targeted advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define the use of advertising pixels and similar technologies as “sharing,” “targeted advertising” or a “sale,” even when no money changes hands. You may contact us to ask about choices available for your location.
Retention and security
We keep order records as long as reasonably needed for fulfilment, support, warranty, fraud prevention, accounting, tax and legal obligations. Contact messages, subscriptions and reviews are kept until they are no longer needed for their stated purpose or you make a valid deletion request.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion; receive a copy of certain information; object to or restrict certain processing; or opt out of certain advertising-related disclosures.
To submit a request, email [email protected] from the address connected with your order or submission. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy when our services or privacy practices change. The date shown on this page identifies the current version.
